Welcome to ScamShield.com Terms of Use Agreement. This Agreement describes the terms and conditions applicable to your use of our services at ScamShield.com. By clicking the "I AGREE" button in the USER AGREEMENT section of the Scam Alert Registration Form, the Scam Report Form or the Volunteer Application, you accept the terms and conditions of this Agreement as a participating user. All users posting Scam Reports accept full responsibility for such postings. The providers of ScamShield.com and their partners and employees accept no responsibility for any views and opinions expressed by it users.

The providers of ScamShield.com may amend this Agreement at any time by posting the amended terms on the web site. Please periodically visit this section of the Site to review the current version of the Terms. The amended terms shall automatically be effective 30 days after they are initially posted. This agreement was revised on January 19, 2010.

The mission of ScamShield.com is to provide informational resources for individuals and organizations about fraud and unethical business practices, in order empower victims with knowledge. We provide a free forum for the public to post their information, views, opinions and experiences (the "Services") through our website available at www.scamshield.com (the "Site"). Registration - To utilize the Site and Services, or certain portions thereof, you may be required to complete a registration process and establish an account with the ScamShield.com ("Scam Shield Account"). You represent and warrant that all information provided by you to ScamShield.com is current, accurate, and complete, and that you will maintain the accuracy and completeness of this information on a prompt, timely basis.

Password and Security - As a registered user of the Site and Services, you may receive or establish one or more passwords. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your password(s) and ScamShield.com Account(s). You understand and agree that you a fully responsible for all actions and postings made from your ScamShield.com Account(s). Any accounts you create are not transferrable. You agree to notify the providers of ScamShield.com immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your ScamShield.com Account(s).

Privacy - The providers of ScamShield.com respect the privacy of our users. The Privacy Notice is expressly incorporated herein by reference and made a part of these Terms

Termination - The providers of ScamShield.com reserve the right to terminate your ScamShield.com Account(s) or restrict access to your ScamShield.com Account(s), or to delete any content posted through your ScamShield.com Account(s), with or without notice, for any or for no reason, and without any liability to you.

Community Participation

Browsing - You understand that material made available by ScamShield.com is a product of a community effort and does not necessarily represent the views of the providers of ScamShield.com. Termination of Service - The providers of ScamShield.com disclaim all responsibility and liability for the availability, timeliness, security or reliability of the Services or Site, or any software provided through the Site. The providers of ScamShield.com reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Services or access to the Site without any notice at any time and without any liability to you.
